انا عايز تلخيص لمدرسة archetypal وتطبيقها على القصيدة

Archetypal is based on certain forms which are impressive in your mind where never you are never your reading, this reading your soul as you as your mind gives the body and goes into that spirit which we called the human consciousness, sometimes in those backwards remembering certain forms and sometimes it goes forward what will happen in the future.
Eliot say" I'm trying to remind people of their hidden area in their mind by providing into my poem certain motives or forms or archetypal which should be realized by everybody.
Most of our problems arise out from this area.
Archetypal itself never appears the conscious area, what really appears in the human conscious is what we called archetypal image.
The archetypal image of the waste land is a woman.
(concentrate on the myth)
The absence which is derived from this story between Apollo and Sybille is that the woman is deductive as well as treating. As far as the world of men is consider woman is representative of the weak part of the human being.

T.S Eliot based his poem on two basic myths:

1-myth of the fisher king
The Fisher King, or the Wounded King, figures in Arthurian legend as the latest in a line charged with keeping the Holy Grail. Versions of his story vary widely, but he is always wounded in the legs or groin, and incapable of moving on his own. When he is injured, his kingdom suffers as he does, his impotence affecting the fertility of the land and reducing it to a barren Wasteland. Little is left for him to do but fish in the river near his castle Carbonic. Knights travel from many lands to heal the Fisher King, but only the chosen can accomplish the feat.

عند قراءة القصيدة سنجد أن

Like the fisher king for his journey to get a solution, he intended to give experience not thought. He intended to put us in the same situation of the fisher king in the sense that he is forcing us to suffer or to have the same experience of paralyze. Even though, it is intellectual one.
Eliot is forcing us as readers to go through along journey to find a cure to our intellectual paralyze that to say to find a meaning gathering all this broken images with which the waste land is produced.

2-The Holy Grail
Simply means a cup in Christianity that was used by Jesus in the last supper.
Implying a sort of sacrifice.
A symbol of suffer for the rest of humanity.
T.S Eliot when he used the myth, he wanted us to know that our first solution should be religion.
